What attracted you to work for RLWC2021? 

I am proud to be from the North and I am a big advocate for events taking place up here. I am looking forward to being a part of a dedicated team who will deliver an inclusive world class tournament. 

What’s your favourite sporting moment?

A personal one was when I crossed the finish line of the New York Marathon in 2010 - something I never dreamed would be possible. The mixture of emotions on completing it, raising money for charity, and running around the boroughs of New York was incredible. 

I worked in the Spectator Services team on the Cricket World Cup in 2019 at Headingley. This was the first contract I signed when I started out as a freelancer. It was an amazing experience, even more so when England went on to win in the nail biting final!
