What attracted you to working for RLWC2021?

I felt that the values of RLWC2021 aligned with my own, and I was really drawn to its potential as a tournament with an incredible opportunity to create meaningful memories for so many people. There’s a real ambition throughout the team to deliver a world-class event and I’m excited to be a part of it.

What is your favourite sporting memory?

It's a tough one. I was in Liverpool for the 2019 Champions League Final, and when Divock Origi scored the second it was complete bedlam. In terms of euphoria, it’s probably that. But having been involved with the team at the time, seeing Stockport County take 3,500+ fans down to Nuneaton and winning (and getting out of) the National League North is right up there. The week prior, Edgeley Park rocked when news of a late goal for Spennymoor against Chorley trickled through meaning that the title was in County’s hands going into the final game of the season. Seeing the team bring it home for everyone was really special.
