Italy head coach Cameron Ciraldo said he was looking forward to the challenge of the World Cup as the team begin Italy's World Cup campaign with a warm up game against Tonga on Friday 20 October in Innisfail.
The team will be captained by the veteran Mark Minichiello with James Tedesco his deputy. The final squad of 24 will be selected following assembly and medicals of all players.
